Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Joint Director of Agriculture, Salem, the second respondent herein to forthwith implement the proceedings of the Additional Director of Agriculture (Personnel Management), Chennai - 5, the first respondent herein, so as to allow the petition to join the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture (Quality Control) in the office of the second respondent as per his office proceedings made in Pa.a.P2/10891/2015 dated 13.08.2015 by the first respondent and disburse all the due service and monetary benefits within a time frame. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner while working as Assistant Director of Agriculture, Salem was transferred to the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture (Quality Control) in the office of the Joint Director of Agriculture, Salem vide proceedings of the first respondent dated 13.08.2015 and the grievance now expressed by the petitioner is that in spite of the said order, the petitioner was not permitted to joint the transferred post and hence he has came forward to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner in this regard, has submitted a representation / letter dated 19.08.2015 praying to the concerned authority to relieve him so as to enable him to join in the transferred post, since no response is forthcoming, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

5. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, in the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to act on the orders of the first respondent dated 13.08.2015, as expeditiously as possible and not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the third respondent. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
