The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case based on the complaint dated 29.10.2015 given by the petitioner and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner is a doctor, who is running a clinic in the name and style of M/s.Subha Clinic for the past 35 years. While so, the petitioner had purchased his adjacent property from one Govindaraj to extend his clinic and started to renovate the property. But one Vinoth and his son Pavan, who are having godown in the front portion of the property purchased by the petitioner, started giving trouble to the petitioner and are not allowing the petitioner to renovate the building. On 26.09.2015, when the petitioner questioned the said Vinoth and his son Pavan, they abused the petitioner and his family members and threatened them with dire consequences. Further on 28.10.2015, the glass of the petitioner's car Ford Fista bearing registration No.TN04 AB 7572 was broken by some persons. When https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner enquired his neighbours, they informed that some four to five youngsters came and damaged the car and ran away. Immediately on the next day, the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent and C.S.R.No.1373 of 2015 was also assigned. But no action has been taken by the respondent police till date. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.1373 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.11.2015 in C.S.R.No.1373 of 2015 and proceed further in accordance with law.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
