Prayer:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to direct the 6th respondent / School to issue Textbooks and Notebooks without requiring parents to buy accessories, which are exorbitantly priced for the forth coming academic year 20192020 and also to direct the school to permit the students to continue to use only black and white shoes and socks as they had been using for the past many years as may of the students have still usable shoes, based on the representations of the petitioners herein.

Nothing survives in this writ petition since the prayer itself is specific to academic year 2019-20.

2.In any event, the counter filed by the respondents specifically denies the allegations of the petitioners to the effect that the parents of the wards of 6th respondent/School are forced to purchase exorbitantly priced accessories along with text books and note books.

3.In view of both factors as aforesaid, this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed and I did so. No costs. Connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
