: Mr.Abul Kalam Standing Counsel COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for mandamus seeking for a direction to the fourth respondent to grant new electricity service connection in favour of the respective petitioners based on their respective applications.

2. Heard Mr.S.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.T.Seenivasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.Abul Kalam, learned standing counsel for the respondents 3 & 4.

3. It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents 3 & 4 in all W.Ps. that the applications submitted by the respective petitioners seeking for electricity service connection have already been rejected as the petitioners have not produced documentary evidence to prove that they are in possession of the respective properties.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 in all these writ petitions would also submit that the petitioners are encroacher's. Since final orders have already been passed in the applications submitted by the respective petitioners seeking for electricity service connection, the respective petitioners will have to challenge the same if so aggrieved in the manner known to them under law.

5. For the foregoing reasons, these writ petitions are disposed of by granting liberty to the respective petitioners to challenge the final orders passed against them rejecting their respective applications seeking for electricity service connection in the manner known to them under law.
