ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.04.2022 for the offences punishable under Section4(1)(i), 4(1)(aaa) r/w 4(1-A) TNP Act in crime No.171 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 19.04.2022, while patrolling near the house of the petitioner, the petitioner was found in possession of 110 litres of ID arrack. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has seven previous cases. He would further submit that there is a proposal for detaining the petitioner under Goondas Act.

5. Considering the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
