This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and to run shop namely STAR CHEKKAN CENTRE situated at Mangalam Salai, Avalurpet, Melmalayanur Taluk, Villupuram district by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 07.05.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions submitted that summons have been issued to both the parties for their appearance today for enquiry. He further submitted that they will conduct enquiry and proceed as per law.

4. In such view of the matter, a blanket order cannot be passed. The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and take it to the logical end.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
