This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.03.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in his name.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. It is seen from the records that based on the application submitted by the petitioner, the third respondent has sent a communication dated 14.03.2024 calling for report to the fourth respondent.

4. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to act upon the application given by the petitioner dated 30.03.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
