The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.132 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against the Manager of Saravana Stores and the employees. On 31.01.2014, the said complaint was registered by the respondent police for the offences under sections 341, 323, 342 and 506(i) IPC. Now, two years have been lapsed, there is no progress in the investigation till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to expedite investigation in the case in Crime No.132 of 2014 and file a final report as early as possible.
