The petitioner, alleging that he has been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 341, 448, 323 and 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prevention of Women Harassment Act subsequently altered into Sections 294(b), 341, 448, 323 and 506 (i) of IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Women Harassment Act and Section 3(ii)(V) of SC/ST Act, seeks a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Salem, to consider the bail application to be filed by him on the same day on his surrender in Cr.No.146 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Salem, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Salem, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner on his surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders.

4. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
