Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 399 IPC in Crime No.298 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused has made preparation to commit robbery.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.

Side) submitted that the petitioner is involved in one previous case and hence, opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any such offence and a false case has been foisted against him.

5. Considering the bad antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner and this petition is dismissed.
