ORDER

(The Order of the Court was made by C.SARAVANAN, J) The Civil Revision Petition is filed against the order dated 17.04.2023 made in I.A.No.145 of 2023 in AIR (SA) 280 of 2023 on the file of the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal at Chennai in T.S.A.No.84 of 2022, dated 28.02.2023 on the file of the Debt Recovery Tribunal-II at Chennai.

2. It is noted that the petitioner deposited a sum of Rs.21,65,000/- as against the total demand of Rs.83,86,412/-.

3. Considering the above, we direct the petitioner to deposit a further sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs only) within a period of two weeks form today. Subject to such compliance, the appeal of the petitioner before the DRAT shall be numbered.

4. Considering the fact that the dispute pertains to the year 2021, we direct the DRAT to dispose the appeal as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent is directed to maintain status quo till the disposal of the appeal.

5. With the above directions, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
