Contempt Petition filed under Order 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the Respondents herein for violating the orders dated 15.07.2020 and 22.07.2020 passed by this Court in W.P.No.9060 of 2020. For Petitioners :

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the orders dated 15.07.2020 and 22.07.2020 made in W.P.No.9060 of 2020 and W.M.P.Nos.11027 to 11029 of 2020.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that, even though there is an interim order passed by this Court, the same has not been complied with. He further submitted that, the Petitioners have been asked to report for duty from 01.10.2020.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents submitted that, the Petitioners have been allowed to join duty from today, i.e. 01.10.2020 and that, the order under contempt has been complied with vide proceedings of the District Officer, Fire Service Department, Dharmapuri in Na.Ka.No.556/A1/2020-1, dated 04.09.2020. In reply, learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that, the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader may be recorded and that, the Contempt Petition may be closed without prejudice to the rights of both parties in the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, recording the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Contempt Petition is closed, without prejudice to the rights of both parties in the Writ Petition. If the Petitioners are aggrieved by the said proceedings dated 04.09.2020, it is open to them to challenge the same in accordance with law.
