Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to conduct survey and fix the boundary stones in the property comprised in Village, Survey No, Sub Division No., Area (Hec/Area) 1) Keerakodahalli, 75, 1D, 0.17.50. 2) Keerakodahalli, 75, 1 F1,0.17.00. 3) Keerakodahalli, 76, 2, 0.26.00. 4) Keerakodahalli, 76, 8, 0.27.50. 5) Keerakodahalli, 77, 2E, 0.19.50 Situated in Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri district, by considering petitioner representation dated 22.12.2025 and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to provide police protection on the date of the survey of land.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2025.

2. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner had filed a representation dated 22.12.2025 before the respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary stones at the subject property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned Government's counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation for conducting survey is supposed to have been filed before the Revenue Authorities. However, the petitioner had filed his representation before the Inspector of Police-3rd respondent. Hence, he requests this Court to direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the appropriate Revenue Authorities, viz., 1st and 2nd respondent.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, the petitioner had filed a representation dated 22.12.2025 before the Inspector of Police - 3rd respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary stones at the subject property. However, the said representation is supposed to have been filed before the Revenue Authorities, viz., 1st and 2nd respondents.

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the 1st and 2nd respondents. Upon receipt of the said representation, the 1st and 2nd respondents shall consider and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks therefrom.
