O R D E R

This petition has been filed to set aside the order in Crl.M.P.No.9925 of 2023 dated 26.04.2023 and consequently extend the time for complying with conditions imposed for grant of anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner was originally granted anticipatory bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai vide order dated 05.01.2023 in Crl.M.P.No.151 of 2023 on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned with some other conditions. However, the petitioner not able to produce the sureties in the time being. That apart the petitioner filed an extension of time petition after three months, therefore, the Court below rightly dismissed the petition .

3. This Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order passed by the trial Court, accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition for anticipatory bail and the same may be considered by the Court below on merits, in accordance with law. 05.05.2023 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes Speaking/non speaking order mpa/rri
