Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 24.05.2022 in B3/D.O.No.28/2022 against the petitioner husband Chandhiran M/39 years S/o. Mani who is confined at Central Prison Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue before the Hon`ble Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B3/DO/No.28/2022 dated 24.05.2022 detaining her husband as "Notorious Drug Offender" under Section 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.4311, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) department, dated 11.07.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the 2/4

Government Order.
