This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and the petitioners staff and as well as to the petitioners properties based on the representation dated 11.05.2022.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and the petitioners staff and as well as to the petitioners properties based on the representation dated 11.05.2022.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is some business enmity between the petitioner's lessor one Lakshmi and some third parties. On 04.05.2022, the said parties were entered into the petitioner's premises and damaged

the properties. Hence, he seeks police protection.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that a case has been registered in Crime No.245 of 2022 against one Arul Pradeep. He would further submit that it is the duty of the police to ensure the peace and tranquility in that area.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

5. Accordingly, the respondents police are directed to give necessary police protection to the petitioner whenever any third party or rowdy elements interfere.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
