This Petition has been filed seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities of Alexandra Deva Kirubai alias Alexandra Edward, who died intestate on 13.09.2009. She was possessed of shares, which are described in the schedule to the petition. 2.

The first petitioner is the son, the first respondent is her husband and the second respondent is another son. Publication had been effected. Parties were invited to tender evidence. The petitioner examined himself as PW-1. The death certificate of his mother and the legal heirship certificate were marked as Exs. P-1 and P-2. The share certificates and letter relating to that were marked as Exs. P-3 and P-4. The consent affidavits of the respondents were marked as Exs. P-8 and P9.

In view of the evidence produced, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the petitioner with power to collect the securities and to receive the interest thereon in the schedule is issued. The petitioners are directed to render accounts once in a year.
