O R D E R

This petition has been filed to register the complaint dated 28.07.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Rajendran, Jagan, Palani and Ravi stating that this petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

purchased property through the said persons and subsequently, found that the said property stood in the name of a dead person. Therefore, a complaint was lodged before the Commissioner of Police, Chennai, against the said persons for cheating. The same was forwarded to the 2nd respondent, then to the 3rd respondent and to the 4th respondent. Now, the 4th respondent is not initiating any action. Hence, the present petition.

3. Considering the submissions made on either, this ourt directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint to the 4th respondent along with a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 4th respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and if the materials gathered indicates any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law. In the course of enquiry, if no prima facie is made out or the matter is civil in nature, he is directed to pass appropriate orders on the complaint made by the petitioner.

4. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
