By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017 to fix pay on par with this junior, Mr.E.Krishnamoorthy and to grant monetary benefits with effect from 14.08.2011 to the petitioner herein.
3. The petitioner was appointed as Grade III Librarian on 11.01.1991. Since he had rendered satisfactory service, he was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
promoted as Grade-II Librarian after eight years, i.e., on 01.02.1999. Subsequently, after two years, the petitioner was further promoted as Grade I Librarian on 17.09.2001. After some time, a batch of Writ Petitions were filed in W.P.No.24947 of 2007 to rework entire seniority of the Librarian in the State. This Court, has also passed common order on 08.04.2009 directing the respondents therein to rework the entire seniority. Subsequently, the said common order was challenged by the respondents therein in W.A.No.1173 of 2010 etc., batch and the said Writ Appeals were disposed of by a common judgment dated 20.09.2010. Since the petitioner's pay has not been refixed on par with his Junior Mr.E.Krishnamurthy, the petitioner gave his representation on 14.06.2017, but the same has not been considered by the respondent, therefore, he has come to this Court by way of writ petition.
4. The learned Additional Government pleader appearing for the respondents sought for sufficient time to consider the pending representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition and without going into the merits of the matter, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
