2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court by order dated 07.01.2022, quashed the proceedings in C.C.29 of 2019 but the operative portion of the order states that the Criminal Original Petition has been disposed of and hence the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays that instead of disposed of it may be stated as quashed. Hence, he prayed for suitable corrections.
3. In view of the above submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the operatives portion reads as follows: " 6. Recording the aforesaid statements made by the defacto complainant/2nd respondent herein along with her respective counsel, as the parties have come to an amicable settlement between themselves on payment of Rs.11,50,000/- to the defacto complainant, the Criminal Original Petition stands quashed, with the aforesaid direction and in terms of the compromise between the respective parties. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed."
