Respondents PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings dated 26.04.2018 passed by the 1st Respondent herein in Se.Mu.A.No.2601/E6/2018 in so far it relates to the retaining of the petitioner's retirement benefits, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to release forthwith to the petitioner his retirement benefits including gratuity, Earned Leave Salary with any arrears if any, with interest at the rate of 10 per annum from the date of retirement i.e. 30.04.2018 till realization of the above benefits.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the case. He has circulated a letter dated 20.02.2026 addressed to the Registrar (Judicial), High Court, Madras and also made an endorsement in the bundle to the above effect.

2. Recording the letter dated 20.02.2026 and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
