The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from laying the road in the patta land of the petitioner situated in S.Nos. 347/1B, 347/2 and 355/1 to an extent of 2.13.5 Hectares of Bommikuppam Village, Tiruppathur Taluk, without acquiring the land in the manner known to law.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. S.Doraisamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that by letter datad 07.08.2018, the 1st respondent had informed the petitioner that the respondents are not having any proposal to lay the road in S.Nos. 347/1B and 355/1. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the letter dated 07.08.2018 of the 1st respondent, the same may be recorded and the Writ Petition may be closed.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, recording the contents of the letter dated 07.08.2018 of the 1st respondent, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
