Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider his representation dated 17.04.2017 seeking for change of name in the patta in his possession in respect of land in S.No.297/2A1, New S.No.442/1, 442/6 and 439/19, situated in Kalpaganur Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2017, the fourth respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the fourth respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
