This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint, dated 17.03.2020 lodged by the petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that counter affidavit has been filed by the respondent. On perusal of the counter, it reveals that the complaint was lodged by the petitioner on 17.03.2020 before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent police and the same was forwarded to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pollachi for enquiry. Thereafter, enquiry was conducted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Pollachi and after completion of the same, the said Sub-Inspector of Police submitted a Report, dated 22.08.2020 to the respondent. On a perusal of the Report, it reveals that further action has been dropped upon the complaint lodged by the petitioner as the contents of the complaint are false. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the Report, dated 22.08.2020 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
