Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the Application No.2026/0123/07/011945 & 2026/0123/07/011946 dated 24.02.2026 submitted by the petitioner for surveying & measuring land comprised in Survey No.194, admeasuring 0-5-50 (HAC), Survey No.195, admeasuring 0-85-50 (HAC), Survey No.197/5A, admeasuring 0-22-00, Survey No.197/6A, admeasuring 0-11-00 (HAC), Navamalkapper Village, Sub Registration District at Kandamangalam, Villupuram District, and demarcate the petitioner's property, and direct the jurisdiction police station to provide sufficient police protection, if necessary, while 1/5
conducting survey and demarcation so as to avoid unwarranted altercation/problem by adjacent landowners and for smooth execution of work.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the properties more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on his online application, dated 24.02.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 24.02.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the 2/5
respondents are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's properties more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice. (b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the properties more fully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition, on merits and in accordance with law.
(c) If police assistance is required, the first respondent is permitted to obtain the same by giving a representation to the police department and the police department shall act accordingly by granting police assistance.
(d) The respondents are directed to complete the aforesaid exercise within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(e) There shall be no order as to costs.
