O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No.556 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate II, Tiruppur within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioners are accused in C.C.No.556 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate II, Tiruppur. In the said case, charges were framed and most of the witnesses were examined. However, L.Ws.1 to 3 were not appeared. For the appearance of L.Ws.1 to 3, the case is unnecessarily dragging on. Speedy trial is a right of an accused. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with this petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Tiruppur to expedite the trial in C.C.No.556 of 2015 and dispose the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of four moths from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
