Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent, to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 23.06.2017 within a stipulated time.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the representation made by him on 23.06.2017 within a time frame.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that , though the petitioner has given a representation as early as on 23.06.2017, the first respondent has not passed any orders so far.

3.Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the first respondent, and Mr.Era Premnath taking notice for the respondents 2 to 5. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
