There is no representation for the petitioner today also, though this writ petition is posted 'for dismissal'.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submit that this writ petition has been filed against the impugned order dated 11.01.2018 wherein, an Inquiry Officer was appointed afresh by the second respondent to enquire into the charges levelled against the petitioner. The enquiry officer appointed on 11.01.2018, has completed his enquiry and submitted his report and based on the same, the Competent Authority has passed the order imposing punishment of 'Censure' in G.O.(3D) No.117 dated 29.09.2023. He placed a copy of the said G.O., before this Court.

3. Considering the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader and in the light of the above stated G.O., in our considered view, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. 2/4

5. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
