O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Cr.No.59 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police No-1, Royapuram Police Station, Chennai and submit final report before the competent court of jurisdiction and take appropriate action against the said accused in accordance with law.

2. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the Assistant Commissioner of Police to monitor the investigation in N-1, Royapuram Police Station Cr.No.59 of 2016 and complete the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be.
