O R D E R

The petitioner as a Co-operative Society, made a representation to the respondent No.1 seeking issuance of valuation certificate. On receipt of the said representation dated 12.03.2015, the respondent No.1 has directed the respondent No.2 to conduct an enquiry and file a report as per the proceedings in Na.Ka.8971/2015 P2 dated 25.03.2015.

2. Respondent No.2 by the letter dated 13.04.2015 directed the Tahsildar, Salem West to do the needful. Accordingly, by the letter dated 30.05.2015, the Tahsildar, on inspection sent a report to respondent No.2. Despite the same, no further direction is forthcoming, the petitioner made another representation on 17.08.2015 and thereafter, filed this writ petition.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the fixation of valuation is important as the same has to be placed before the Valuation Committee for the purpose of obtaining loan.

As per the D.O. Letter No.20145/HCS 1/2014-2 dated 24.12.2014, such matters were required urgent attention and therefore, he sought for appropriate orders.

4. Learned Government Pleader submitted that the respondent No.1 would take final action within a reasonable time.

5. Considering the same, a direction is issued to the respondent No.2 to send his report to the respondent No.1, if not sent already, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in pursuant to the letter of the Tahsildar dated 30.05.2015. Thereafter, the respondent No.1 will take appropriate action on the same, within a period of two weeks.
