ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus, to direct respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025 to upload the Revenue Records pertaining to Survey Nos.178/21 and 178/22 of Pollambakkam Village in the Computerized Revenue Records at the earliest.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the revenue records relating to Survey Nos.178/21 and 178/22 are not uploaded in the computerized revenue records, hence the petitioner is not able to get government benefits, subsidies and other beneficial schemes. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 10.03.2025 before respondent nos.1 to 3, however, the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondents till date, thus the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/5

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that these are free housing pattas and there are conditions attached to it and the respondents would have to enquire whether the conditions are complied with. It is further submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that the petitioner may furnish the relevant requisite documents. If any such documents are furnished, an enquiry would be conducted and revenue records would be uploaded and computerised if it is found to be in order within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the petitioner to submit the requisite documents before the appropriate respondent. If any such documents are submitted the respondents are directed to conduct an enquiry, verify the genuineness of the documents. If the documents are found to be in order, the respondent shall upload the revenue records of the subject property and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date on which the petitioner submitted the requisite documents, after affording the petitioner a reasonable opportunity of hearing. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in 3/5
accordance with law. No costs.
