Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in detention order in Cr.M.P.No.03/Drug Offender/2020/E1 dated 27.08.2020 on the file of the second respondent and set aside the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the petitioner's husband detenu Loganathan, son of Rajasekar, aged 40 years, now confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore before this court and set him at liberty. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Cr.M.P.No.03/Drug Offender/2020/E1, dated 27.08.2020, detaining her husband as "Drug Offender" under Section 2(e) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.4380, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 16.10.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
