Prayer:Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to forthwith receive the tender schedules of the petitioner with regard to the works pursuant to tender Notice Nos.3/2018-2019/SDO dated 13.04.2018 and 4/20182019/SDO dated 16.04.2018 respectively. For Petitioner : Mr.AR.Karthick Lakshmanan For Respondents: Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan Special Govt.Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioner has filed the present writ petitions seeking for a direction to the second respondent to receive the tender schedules with regard to the works pursuant to tender Notice Nos.3/2018-2019/SDP and 4/2018-2019/SDP dated 13.04.2018 and 16.04.2018 respectively and consider the same.

It is the case of the petitioner that it is a registered Class I contractor and has been doing several road works, civil works and building works for the last 12 years and is also in possession of necessary machineries for construction and strengthening of roads. While so, the second respondent floated tender notices dated 13.04.2018 and 16.04.2018 inviting bids https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
under two cover system for the work of Upgradation of Panchayat and Panchayat Union Roads to ODR Standards in Villupuram and Vandavasi (H) N & R.R. Sub Division under three packages. The last date for submission of tender is 24.05.2018 and prequalification documents will be opened at 3.15 p.m. on the same day. The petitioner, who is interested to participate in the work had drawn Demand Drafts towards bid security and went to the office of the second respondent to submit the tender documents. However, the 2nd respondent refused to receive the tender schedules. Hence, the present writ petitions.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, this Court directed the learned Special Government Pleader to get instructions regarding submission of tender schedules. On instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner can submit his tender schedules before the second respondent today before 3.00 p.m. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner appeared before the second respondent, who had also accepted the tender schedules.
4. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petitions. Accordingly, the writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
