ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2017.

2.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents.

3.The limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is for considering the petitioner's representation, wherein the petitioner had complained of obstruction raised by four persons viz., Uma, Ganapathy, Natarajan and Swaminathan. In https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this connection, he had given a complaint to the respondent police seeking for protection and since the representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 4.It is needless to point out that whenever a representation is given seeking for protection, the respondent police are bound to consider the same in one way or the other instead of keeping it pending. Hence, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 01.09.2017 on his own merits and pass appropriate orders after giving due opportunity to the respondents 3 to 6 viz., Uma, Ganapathy, Natarajan and Swaminathan and any other person who may be involved in the dispute. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of a receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands ordered. No costs.
