The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 05.09.2015 immediately and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint against one R.V.Rajee on the allegation of being threatened. But no action was taken on the said complaint. Since the respondent has not taken any action, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 05.9.2015 given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and the same was closed.

4. In view of the same, the prayer that has been made in this criminal original petition cannot be granted. Hence, the present criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the respondent police is directed to give a copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
