O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to give police protection to the petitioner and her husband namely Ashok Victor and ensure their life out of endanger from the hands of the petitioner's parents based on her complaint dated 21.10.2015.

2. The petitioner has submitted that she fell in love with one Ashok Victor and got married at Arulmigu Thandu Thulukanathamman Alayam, Mannady, Chennai-1, on 20.08.2015. They are now residing at No.28, vinayagar Street, sabhi Nagar, IAF, Muthaputhupet, Chennai. The petitioner parents made a false complaint before the respondent police stating that the petitioner has been kidnapped by the said Ashok Victor but the fact remains that the petitioner loved the said Ashok Victor and married on 20.08.2015. Now the petitioner is receiving life threat at the hands of the petitioner parents. Hence, a complaint was lodged on 21.10.2015 but the same was not considered so far. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the submission made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the respondent police along with a copy of this order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same the respondent police is directed to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
