This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 208 days in filing written statement in C.S. No. 153 of 2023 filed by the petitioner.

In the affidavit filed in support of the application of judges summons, the defendant had stated that there was an attempt to settle the issues and a Senior Counsel was appointed to act as Mediator. It was also hoped that the issues would actually be settled, but they were not. This has necessitated the defendant to file written statement. In the meanwhile, the delay had occurred. Therefore, this application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 208 days in filing the written statement. 3.

Taking into consideration all the factors, the Application stands allowed and delay is condoned.
