(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.,) Admittedly the Revenue Authorities have issued final notice under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act [hereinafter referred to as "the Act"].

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that appeal under Section 10 of the Act is filed, which is pending before the District Collector.

3. If at all any such appeal is pending, the 1st respondent/ District Collector shall dispose of the same in the order of seniority after affording opportunity to the parties and as expeditiously as possible. 2/4
