ORDER

This petition has been filed by the defacto complainant to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.2068/2017 on the file of Inspector of Police, J-12, Kanathur Police Station,(Crime), Chennai-600 119 and submit final report before the Competent Jurisdictional Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.2068/2017 for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C on 27.12.2017, but, thereafter no steps has been taken to file any final report and hence he requests to direct the respondent to file final report at early.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after registering the case, the matter has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been taken up for investigation and the investigation is in progress. She requests to grant two months time for filing final report.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file final report within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of .
