Seeking disposal of the petition filed for restitution of conjugal rights by the respondent-wife, pending on the file of II Additional Family Court, 1/4

Chennai, in H.M.O.P.No.5222/2021, the respondent-husband is before this Court.

2. A perusal of 'B-Diary' extract would show that the petitioner-wife has filed a proof affidavit on 22.09.2022, and the chief-examination of PW1 was completed on that date. Thereafter, the matter for posted for crossexamination of P.W.1 on 12.10.2022. Subsequently, the case stood adjourned on various occasions, and the cross-examination of P.W.1 was concluded on 06.04.2024. Thereafter, on 22.07.2024, the petitioner has endorsed that she has no further evidence and the matter was thereafter adjourned without any further progress.

3. Therefore, the civil revision petition is allowed and a direction is issued to the II Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, to conclude the H.M.O.P.No.5222 of 2021, on or before 30.07.2025. No costs. 25.04.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No ds 2/4
