The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 06/09/2015 against the accused person pending on the file of the respondents in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner is a Dharmakartha in an Amman temple. One Dayalan impersonated himself as Dharmakartha and collected money from the public and misappropriated the money. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has come forward to file this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police has assigned C.S.R.No.131 of 2015 to the complaint given by the petitioner and now, it is pending for enquiry before the second respondent.

5. Considering the rival submissions, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct an enquiry in C.S.R.No.131 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
