Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the the 1st respondent herein to enforce the direction given by the Member Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, Thalamuthu Natarajan Maligai, No.1, Gandhi Irwin Road, Egmore, Cehnnai - 600 008, the 2nd respondent herein in his proceedings bearing No.G 15325 of 2007 dated 10.09.2007, in directing the 1st respondent to inspect and take appropriate action against such construction put up at No.17, 1st Floor, Kannagi Nagar, Korattur, Padi, Ambathur Taluk, Chennai - 600 080. ORDER
This writ petition is filed for seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to enforce the direction given by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings bearing No.G 15325 of 2007 dated 10.09.2007 .
2. The learned standing counsel for the 1st respondent submitted that pursuant to the order of the 2nd respondent, dated 10.09.2007, the 1st respondent had issued a notice to the 3rd respondent for production of approved plan and in view of the non production of the said plan, the 1st respondent had issued a lock and seal notice, dated 14.12.2016. The learned counsel further submitted that the 1st respondent has taken appropriate action as sought for in this writ petition.
3. In the light of the above fact, no further adjudication is necessary in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
