When the case is taken up for hearing, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that pursuant to the observation of this Court, the respondent has worked out the amounts to which the petitioner is entitled to. By stating as above, the learned Senior Counsel for the respondent has filed a calculation sheet dated 21.11.2025.

3. The learned Senior Counsel further submitted in order to give a quietus to the matter that the respondent has brought the cheque bearing No.970170 dated 25.11.2025 drawn in the name of the petitioner on Indian Overseas Bank regarding settlement of amounts as per the said calculation sheet.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledged the receipt of the cheque drawn in the name of the petitioner. 3/7

5. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner however submitted that the aforesaid calculation sheet furnished by the respondent does not take into consideration the annual increment for the year 2019.

However, taking into the fact that the respondent has complied with the order of this Court substantially, this Court is of the view that there is no need to proceed further with the present contempt case. However, since the petitioner claims of not being granted i.e., annual increment for the year 2019-2020, the issue is left open for the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out her remedies, if so advised. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed.
