ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 18.04.2024 passed in W.P. No.17505 of 2017.

2. As the respondents have not complied with the order passed, this Court issued statutory notice on 07.07.2025 and accordingly, the first respondent appeared before this Court duly issuing orders in G.O.(4D) No.07, Health and Family Welfare (IM2-1) Department, dated 04.08.2025, deciding to comply with the order passed by this Court. Accordingly, the matter was adjourned to today to report compliance.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by Mr.E.Sundaram, learned Government Advocate that the respondents have complied with the order passed by this Court and accordingly, released Rs.21,54,529/- in favour of the petitioner after 2/5

deducting necessary deductions as early as on 13.08.2025.

4. However, Ms.Hema Sampath, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents claimed to have complied with the order subject to appeal filed by the respondents. No doubt any compliance of the order passed by the learned Single Judge shall always subject to orders to be passed by Division Bench and therefore no objection can be made to that effect.

5. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Sub Application is also closed.
