Order This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in CC.No.805 of 2022 on the file of the learned Additional Mahila Court, Judicial Magisterial level, Chengalpet.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for 1st respondent would submit that trial was already commenced and witnesses P.W.1 and P.W.2 were examined.

3. Since the trial has already commenced and P.W.1 and P.W.2 have been examined, this Court is not inclined to interdict the proceedings. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for petitioners would submit that the presence of the petitioners before the trial court may be dispensed with.

5. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for petitioners, the appearance of petitioners before the Additional Mahila Court, Judicial Magisterial Level, Chengalpet in C.C.No.805 of 2022 is dispensed with.
