ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to transfer patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, he has purchased the property in Survey No.191, in Mupathuvetti Village, Arcot Taluk, Vellore District, by means of a registered sale deed dated 25.05.2016 and thereafter, he is in possession and enjoyment of the property. Since patta stands in the name of his vendor, petitioner has applied for transfer of patta through online on 29.03.2021 and thereafter, he has made a representation to the respondent on 28.04.2021. But, no order has been passed, so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and the petitioner's application dated 29.03.2021 is pending with the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the other interested persons, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
