The CBCID has stated in their affidavit before the Court that the investigation is complete and final report has been filed against two officers, who have committed the offences under Section 176(1) Cr.P.C. read with Section 304 (ii) I.P.C. The same is stated to have been pending on the file of the Magistrate. It is further submitted in Court that necessary permission to prosecute these officers has been granted by the State Government.

2.In so far as the disciplinary proceedings are concerned, it is stated that statutory notice has been issued, but final order has not been passed, as that could be done once the final report has been filed by the CBCID. The order qua the departmental enquiry will be passed by the competent authority within a maximum period of one (1) month from today.

3.No further orders are required.
