Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's agricultural lands, comprised in Survey No.300/3, measuring to an extent of 1.05 acres, situated at Angalakurichi Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District, under Tariff LA3A1 - Cottage Industries Category - vide petitioner's Application No.3260517408 dt.18.05.2017 - CBU326AR1S1319 - with 3.73KW.

O R D E R
The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's agricultural land, comprised in Survey No.300/3, measuring to an extent of 1.05 acres, situated at Angalakurichi Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District.
2. Though notice was served on the fifth respondent, he has not chosen either to appear in person or through a counsel, even though his name is printed in the cause list.
3. The learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 4, by filing counter affidavit, submitted that the work is under progress and on completion of electric line extension work along with erection of distribution transformer, the service connection will be effected. He further submitted that the service connection will be given as agricultural service connection only, as the very application itself is under such category.
4. The above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 is recorded and the writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents 3 & 4 to complete the process and effect the service connection, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
