The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a case based on the complaint dated 17.08.2015 and investigate this same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against her husband and in-laws on the allegation that her husband and inlaws are attempting to murder her. But the said complaint was not registered so far.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

already been registered in Crime No.302 of 2015 for an alleged offence under Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act and 506(ii) of IPC.
