O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner's wife Parameswari on 16.06.2016 to the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner's wife Parameswari, petition enquiry is pending before the respondent.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the police for enquiry and at the time of conducting enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
